The owner of a start-up aged care business sought our advice regarding employment contracts that would offer flexibility as the volume of business grew. She also wanted guidance on what they needed to do to protect their intellectual property and ensure employees understood and acted appropriately in relation to privacy, health records and workplace health and safety obligations.

We developed a suite of casual, part-time and full-time employment agreements covering each of the employee position types and ensured our client knew when to use each type of agreement. The agreements provided significant protections regarding confidential information and the client’s intellectual property, as well as requiring the employees to comply with all of our client’s privacy, health records and safety policies.
